What can we say? Most of us were in the InLt clan for a year and some were there longer. InLt closed.. and we still managed to keep the majority of members intact.. In the process SSA Clan was born. We're a close group of friends, that enjoy playing together. It's very hard to find a server where respect for yourselves and others are one of the top priorities of playing.
So this is our home, and we thrive on giving the respect to everyone who visits us.
Well, the history for this clan goes way back. It was never suppose to be a clan.. it started as a joke, actually. Either way, it was InLt for a few years. Darkstar ran a server in his house so the bandwidth was horrible. Nobody ever visited his server because of ping issues. I started going there because it was empty and I wanted to learn how to play the game. As the days went on, more and more people started coming in and we all became close friends. One of our close friends decided to join the Fubar clan and came in to tell us about it. As a payback, we said "we should make a clan too" and thats where it all began. It wasnt a normal clan. We all loved to just hang out, not really frag.. just joke around.. committing suicide and so on. We heard of Bubblemod and decided to try that out. We ended up really liking it.We had an awesome group of players. A few years passed and our clan had grown to about 30 people. The last ones voted in were Gulls and Agitator. Darkstar started having issues with the server provider he was going through. We went without a server for a couple of months. It was really hard to keep a clan together when we had nowhere to meet up at. Gulls decided he was going to do something about that and made his own server for all of us to go. That server was called [InLt]GullsBay. Things happened in the meantime where Darkstar decided to just let his server and forum go and he was leaving the clan. We had to come up with a new name for the clan. There was many good names thought of, but SSA was decided on. We lost a few good friends in that turn over.. but the majority of us stuck it out. It was a rough ride. I seriously miss the people we lost, to this day. We decided to go sevs mod then.. more action, competitions, etc. Without going into all the dirty details...things have changed quite a bit.Im the only one left of the ones that started InLt. Theres a couple still around from when SSA was born, but not many. Thats really all I can say about it as Im not around hardly at all anymore. I would have to ask Agitator or Blork to finish this up since I dont even know most of the players now.
Well Brat pretty much summed up the old days of how SSA was born. Today the clan is still pretty much the same with a great group of Peeps here that are like family. Gulls eventually let the server go for he was done playing the game of hl, and moved on to other games. I didnt want to let SSA die. It was the only clan i had helpped Build and am Proud to be a part of. Today SSA is ran by all of its members and i hope it countinues to stay this away.
